Star Robotics, the pioneering startup in mobile robotics for autonomous inspection and surveillance, has partnered with Guident Corp, a leader in remote monitoring for autonomous vehicles, to boost security at facilities in Boca Raton, Florida, starting April 18.
The two companies share a similar vision for the future of autonomous robotics and remote monitoring, as well as a commitment to innovation in industrial processes and surveillance. With this foundation, they aim to create spaces that leverage the capabilities of the Watchbot, including autonomous navigation, the AUROS cloud platform, and AI integration in real-world environments. This collaboration also represents an opportunity for Star Robotics to expand into a new market.
The WatchBot, available in both its Surveillance and Inspector versions, is set to revolutionize the U.S. security, surveillance, and industrial inspection sectors by improving costs and reducing errors for strategic American companies.
Harald Braun, Executive Chairman and CEO of Guident, stated:
“Since establishing our strategic partnership, we’ve been delighted to collaborate with the Star Robotics team on several projects. With their relentless focus on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, Star Robotics is poised to transform how industries harness the power of robotics to drive efficiency, productivity, and success.”
A key part of this strategic alliance involves integrating Guident’s remote monitoring, control, and assistance services for autonomous vehicles with Star Robotics’ cutting-edge technologies implemented in the Watchbot. These capabilities will be showcased at Guident’s new Remote Monitoring and Control Center (RMCC). This partnership aims to launch innovative solutions in remote monitoring and autonomous operation to the U.S. market.
Yamila Feccia, Chief Commercial Officer of Star Robotics, expressed:
“We are thrilled to join forces with Guident, a leader in autonomous vehicle (AV) monitoring, to introduce a security surveillance robot equipped with human-like capabilities to the U.S. market. This groundbreaking collaboration marks a pivotal moment in advancing security and innovation in autonomous technology. We couldn’t be more excited to pioneer this revolutionary solution, setting a new standard for the industry.”
