Watchbot, finalist in the 2025 Innovation Awards
From September 28 to 30, Star Robotics participated in the International Security Expo (ISE) 2025, held at Olympia London, one of the most important global events in the security industry. Over three days, the exhibition brought together the most innovative companies in technology, artificial intelligence, and robotics applied to security, consolidating its role as a key meeting point for the future of autonomous surveillance.
Watchbot, finalist at the 2025 Innovation Awards
Our autonomous security robot, Watchbot, was selected among the top ten finalists of the 2025 Innovation Awards, alongside leading international companies such as Leidos, Synectics, and Rohde & Schwarz. This recognition reinforces the technological value of Star Robotics and the impact Watchbot is generating in the transition toward smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient security operations.
The power of partnerships: conversations that drive change
During the event, our Lead Business Developer, João Pedro Costa, held a discussion with Biju Chudasama, CTO of Wilson James, about the role of strategic partnerships in transforming the security landscape. Both agreed that the future lies in technological collaborations that integrate artificial intelligence, automation, and operational expertise, combining knowledge and vision to create high-impact solutions.
“Collaboration is the engine of innovation. Each partner brings a key piece to build more complete solutions adapted to the real challenges of the sector.”
— João Pedro Costa, Lead BD at Star Robotics
Innovation in action: Watchbot at booth B34
Star Robotics’ booth B34 was one of the most visited spaces in the pavilion. Attendees experienced Watchbot in operation, discovering its autonomy, traceability, and connectivity capabilities, and understanding how mobile robotics is redefining the concept of perimeter security and technical inspection. Real-world use cases and new integration opportunities were also presented across critical infrastructure, logistics, energy, and industrial environments.
A turning point for Star Robotics’ growth
Participation in the International Security Expo marked a turning point for Star Robotics, not only because of the recognition received but also due to the strategic conversations initiated with potential partners and investors interested in the international expansion of the Robot as a Service (RaaS) model. This event represents the beginning of a new stage where innovation and collaboration will be key to continued growth and to consolidating Star Robotics’ leadership in autonomous security robotics across Europe.
